DISCOVERY FORMULA
An adventure where every rider takes on the beauty and the challenges of the desert, just as in the great African rallies and raids. What matters is following the GPS track of each stage at your own pace, respecting the mandatory transit points (WPC = control waypoints), the posted speed limits and a maximum daily time set for safety reasons.
Do this and you qualify as a FINISHER of the stage. Riders who finish all 6 stages earn the title of DISCOVERY FINISHER of the Lamas Rally Morocco 2027 edition and receive the corresponding award.
RALLY FORMULA (ROADBOOK or GPS)
A test of navigation and consistency built on the values of the legendary rallies: adventure, competition and discovery.
The 6-stage route crosses the Moroccan desert from the high plateaus to the dunes, taking in the full spread of riding challenges: river crossings, sand, fesh fesh, fast hamadas, demanding ergs and beaten off-road pistes.
Each stage features Selective Sectors where respecting the limits and clearing the mandatory waypoints (WPs) within the maximum time is decisive to avoid penalties, using ROADBOOK or GPS depending on your chosen category. The ROADBOOK and GPS routes are not the same.
Across the hundreds of kilometres of each stage, physical and mental preparation count: the key to the Rally is not being the fastest, but being consistent and error-free. The rider with the fewest penalties after 6 stages wins their category.
